KL Lighting was founded by Jeff Mendrala, LC. Jeff has been a designer in the lighting field for over 20 years. He is among about 1,500 lighting designers certified by the National Council on Qualifications for Lighting Professionals. Jeff is also a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society and the International Association of Lighting Designers. He has worked with architects, designers, and construction teams across the US and world on multiple high end residential, commercial and mixed use projects.

Deena joined the design team in 2007. Deena has an interior design degree. She is in proficient Adobe Photoshop/InDesign, Lightroom CC, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft suite. Deena has many interests which include a life-long love of photography, travel, art, graphic design, landscaping (hardscape, native plants), and herbal medicine.

Tiffany joined the staff of KL Lighting in 2007 as the office manager. She also handles the marketing and accounting for the office. Before joining KL Lighting she was an architectural sales rep in the Texas area. Tiffany loves spending time with her family, reading and sharing her life experiences with other moms through organizations such as MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers http://www.mops.org), TxP2P (Texas Parent to Parent http://txp2p.org) and CC4C (Cheyanna’s Champions for Children https://www.cc4c.org/.)
