Archilux is the evolution of KL Lighting — a lighting consultancy born from the theater and refined by decades of architectural collaboration. Founded by Jeff Mendrala in 2000, the firm began with residential and landscape lighting and quickly grew in scale and reputation. From Austin to destinations across the globe, our work now spans multimillion-dollar projects in luxury residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.

Our approach balances the human, the artistic, and the technical. We design lighting that performs, inspires, and supports the architectural vision — all while maintaining a low environmental footprint and a high standard of precision.
